2018 (French)In: CRELIS, ISSN 2226-2695, Vol. 7, p. 189-202Article in journal (Refereed) In press
Abstract [fr]

Abstract [en]

The article reveals the way Jorge Semprun rewrites his experience of concentration camps with the frame of sociology of memory proposed by Maurice Halbwachs. The hypothesis is that writing contributes to a form of resilience. The analysis of the book Le grand voyage explores the characteristics of this remembrance. The fiction seems to reveal a deeper feeling on this historical tragedy than a self-biographical narrative.
