Abstract [en]

Properties of the 65 doctoral theses, written by nurses, and their answers to a questionnaire have been used to represent the emerging field of nursing research. Such data constitute the foundation for correspondence analyses, revealing that nursing research in Sweden is far4 from an one-sided activity. Thus, nurses as scholars belong to at least one of two distinctly separate traditions inside academia: biomedical research and some of the traditions inside social science.
