Abstract [en]

Coin metals as a sign of social class. Coin hoards from the warship Kronan and from Scania in southern Sweden connected wth the Scanian war 1676-1679 are analysed based on their composition of different metals; gold, silver and copper. It is evident that the social class in the society is revealed by the coin metals which the owner possessed.
