Abstract [en]

The thesis has three purposes. 1. By empirical and theoretical studies to formulate a perspective for analyzing and evaluating the competence-developing effects of different strategies of change; 2. By applying theis perspective, to describe and explain the output of concrete efforts of change in some industrial companies to infer conclusions concerning the suitability of different strategies of change focusing on the development of competence of the involved actors.
