Abstract [sv]

A reading of Samuel Beckett's late work Worstward Ho (1983), put in relation to his earlier prose and Schopenhauer-reading. The problem of nothingness and the minimalistic, combinatory use of language are stressed. The text was presented as a lecture held at the Beckett-symposium at the department of comparative literature at Stockholm University in spring 2006.
