Stockholm University, Faculty of Humanities, Department of English.
2007 (English)Chapter in book (Refereed)
Abstract [en]

This article outlines a methodology for distinguishing the main Latin sources for the Middle English homily collection "Ormulum" from subsidiary sources. In addition, Johannes Scotus Eriugena's 9th-century "Commentarivs In Evangelivm Iohannis" is identified as the main source for the homilies based on the Gospel of St John.
