This paper deals with a problem that a manufactoring company is facing when its main product becomes a xommodity on a mature market. The authors have approached the problem from an existing firm´s perspective. They describe how this firm should go about when transforming its mature product into a service offer that redefines the premises on which it competes in the maarket place.
