Abstract [en]

This master thesis concerns possibilities for executive search companies to employ the Internet as mean of recruitment. An empirical study of approximately 100 Internet web sites have been conducted in order to establish how on-line recruitment presently is conducted. The result of the empirical study has been the fundamental mean when detecting possible opportunities and threats posed to executive search firms due to on-line recruitment. Finally, the essay treats an evaluation of these opportunities and threats as well as an example of how on-line recruitment can be employed by executive serach companies.
