Abstract [en]

Our study looks at the steps or process involved in developing scenarios. This is done by the use of a chronological framework that guides the scenario developer through the various stages from conception to completion. A brief discussion dealing with the topic of scenario development and its uses is taken up. Four cases are examined against the theoretical framework and the results show that several important steps or stages in the development process are left out, which can have negative implications for the developed scenarios.
