Abstract [en]

The concept of Mobile Virtual Network Operators, MVNOs, is a relatively new phenomenon. This thesis answers many questions that arise when briefly viewing current MVNO operations. For example, why are retail chains becoming MVNOs? Which strengths and assets make (or doesn’t make) companies suitable for MVNO operations? How does the business models look like for these companies and what relation does it have to their origins? Which factors will determine the success of these companies?
