Abstract [en]

Background: The large newspaper companies in Sweden have been established relatively earlier on the Internet. Today these companies use Internet for both their own advertisement and to sell advertisement places in their net edition. How the newspaper companies, act on the Internet, what strategic planning and objectives they have with this business area and which tools they use to reach their goal is interesting to study. To identify the different thoughts and concepts of using Internet as marketing medium for some newspaper companies I have studied may help others that have not started yet using Internet as a marketing medium.
