Abstract [en]

The ongoing deregulations on national stock markets around the world have contributed to an increased cross-country correlation. This thesis analyses such a relationship between the stock markets in Sweden and in the US by analysing two strongly correlated indices, OMX and Nasdaq Composite. Our study investigates if there are instant or delayed adjustments in OMX to developments at Nasdaq. The purpose is to test the market efficiency at the Swedish stock market.
