The purpose of this thesis has been to determine how the marketing should be done for a profit-oriented WISP in order to reach success. The fundamental questions have been: What characterizes Wi-Fi services? What implications on marketing approaches do these characteristics imply for WISPs? The research method followed has been a qualitative approach, consisting of a literature study and interviews.
