Abstract [en]

As large parts of Eastern Europe are joining the European Union the centre of the EU is shifting towards the East. One of the large questions concerning the development of Eastern Europe is the level of competence and knowledge that is needed to accomplish prosperity. Companies do however face different challenges when transferring this knowledge to their subsidiaries. These problems arise because of the complexity that is a part of this process. We believe that these challenges can be eased through a company’s knowledge transfer process; therefore we wanted to study the knowledge transfer process to an Eastern European country.
