Abstract [sv]

I Europa har begreppet Functional foods varit känt sedan början av 90-talet och har blivit ett modeuttryck inom livsmedelsindustrin. Flera producenter tillverkar idag hälsobefrämjande livsmedel, där mejeriföretagen är de producenter som anses ha kommit längst i utvecklingen av Functional foods. Intresset för Functional foods ökar även inom dagligvaruhandeln, som idag lägger stor vikt vid hälsa och hälsa.
