Abstract [en]

The term project financing refers to the financing of a separate venture, where the lenders have to rely on the success of the project itself for repayment of debt and not the support of the sponsors, i.e. the shareholders of the project company. Therefore, it is essential that the project company is not left with too much risk. One of the most important features of project financing is therefore the allocation of risk to different parties.
