Abstract [en]

This report concentrates on the VC funds industry within life sciences, identifies major issues and trends in the VC funds market, examines areas that attract venture capitalists in the US right now, and presents reasons behind their investment choices. Data used in this report were mainly gathered through interviews in California and come from six case companies that all invest in life sciences. Data collection focused on their investment preferences, stage of investments, and exit strategies.
