Abstract [en]

This paper focuses on two aspects of importance for entering Singapore as a first step in entering East Asia and for operating a RHQ from there; Chinese business characteristics and the operation of RHQ’s. It offers three main deliverables of interest to companies considering entering Singapore as a mean to enter the East Asian region; lessons learnt by Swedish companies already operating a RHQ in Singapore, a map of important actors and a framework for entering Singapore as a first step in entering East Asia.
