Abstract [en]

The thesis is a Minor Field Study on the Argentinean microfinance sector. Micro credits are small loans given to poor people, usually outside the formal financial system, to fund small enterprises. In the view of the fact that the Argentinean microfinance sector is underdeveloped in comparison to its neighbouring countries, the paper aims to explore the conditions and the outlook for the microfinance after the recent economic crisis in the country.
