Uppsatsens syfte är att ta reda på hur företag i trögrörliga branscher går tillväga för att nå och organisera kunder i en annan miljö än sin befintliga, samt vilka svårigheter detta kan föra med sig. Som illustration används en fallstudie av Nordeas satsning på Bank i Butik.
