Abstract [en]

Telematics is a technology with growing applications worldwide. Lately, it has been associated with applications in cars and trucks for routing and fleet management purposes. Within the construction equipment industry, telematics is still a fresh technology and there is little knowledge on how the technology is to be utilized and what the implications are. Thus, there is a gap between current research and the needs of the construction equipment industry.
