Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
What drives the value of a particular industry? This thesis explores the aerospace & defence industry from the very beginning to the identifying macro factors affecting the aerospace & defence industry’s operating cash flows and sales. This is carried out with the help of several statistical measures as Cross Correlation Analysis, Granger Causality test and Regression analysis. We find that the industry can be affected by the economic macro factors such as population growth, exchange rates, interest rates, employment level as well as by industry specific macro factors such as defence budget and defence expenditures, number of combat aircraft, aircraft backlog and air force.
