Abstract [en]

Syftet med studien var att undersöka vad sjuksköterskestudenter reflekterar över samt vilka kommentarer de fick under den verksamhetsförlagda utbildningen. För att kunna besvara frågeställningarna valde jag en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Min metod för datainsamling var att jag analyserade sjuksköterskestudenternas loggböcker, som använts under den verksamhetsförlagda utbildningen. I resultatet framkom det att studenterna reflekterade mycket kring planering. Studenterna ville också vara självständiga men de kände sig ibland osäkra. Vad gäller dokumentationen framkom det att de tyckte att det var svårt att dokumentera. Det fanns en del reflektioner om medicinsk teknik och det var ett stort moment för studenterna. På det flesta områdena tyckte studenterna att de behövde mera träning men ofta kommenterade handledaren att det ändå fungerat bra. Det var viktigt att studenterna fick feedback och då både beröm samt konstruktiv kritik Handledarna tyckte att studenten kontrollerade situationen och att de fick ihop dagarna trots att det ibland varit lite rörigt.

The purpose of this study was to examine what nurse students reflected about and what notes they got during their practice. A qualitative content analysis was used in this paper in order to answer the questions. The method used for collecting data was to analyse nurse students’ books, which were used during their practice. The results show that the students reflected quite a lot about planning and that they also wanted to be independent but that they sometimes felt unsafe. Concerning the documentation they found it to be difficult. There were some reflections about medical techniques and it appeared to be a vast task for the students. The students felt that they needed more training in several areas but the tutors often pointed out that this was not quite the case. It was important that the students got feedback, approval as well as constructive criticism. The tutors considered the students to be in control over the situation and that they managed the workdays despite the fact that they sometimes were quite confused.
