Sergei O. Prokof'ev: A Contemporary Representative of Russian Sophiology?

The article traces the renewed interest in Sophia, the enigmatic symbol of Divine Wisdom, in post-Soviet Russian thought through the work of Sergei O. Prokof'ev, grandson of the composer and one of the central figures in present-day Anthroposophy. It relates Prokof'ev's work to the indigenous Sophiological tradition and the early writings of the philosopher Vladimir Solov'ëv.
