Memoirs of Swedenborg: and other documents
Stockholm University, Faculty of Humanities, Department of Literature and History of Ideas.
2011 (English)Collection (editor) (Refereed)
Abstract [en]

First written in Swedish over 200 years ago, Carl Robsahm’s Memoirs of Swedenborg is one of the most compelling eyewitness accounts of Emanuel Swedenborg to be published in any language. Rich in detail, this memoir is now a classic in its own right and a primary resource for all subsequent biographers. This new annotated translation is based on a critical edition of the original Swedish text. Extracts from other contemporary records, in certain respects explanatory and elucidatory, complete the picture.  All texts translated, analytically examined, annotated and introduced by Anders Hallengren.
