Feature article: Interview with Lidia Falcón (born in Madrid in 1935), lawyer, essayist, novelist and dramatist in Barcelona; the author of Los derechos civiles de la mujer(1963), Los derechos laborales de la mujer(1964) and Mujer y sociedad: Análisis de un fenómeno reaccionario(1969), which showed women’s lack of legal protection and civil rights. In 1976 she founded the Colectivo Feminista, the magazine Vindicación feminista, the publishers Ediciones de feminismo, and in 1977 the Organización Feminista Revolucionaria. — A political prisoner during the last days of the Franco regime she maintains that democratic reforms do not secure equal rights for women.
