Abstract [fr]

Le discours politique est un support didactique adéquat à la classede FLE permettant aux apprenants de travailler le registre de langue et lecontexte politique et social de l´énonciation du discours. Les allocutionsprésidentielles sont des exemples adaptés à l´apprentissage en raison deleur généralité et de leur aspect non polémique. Cet article vise à montrercomment une analyse de discours correspondant au niveau de compréhensiondes élèves permet de trouver un équilibre entre l´apprentissage de la langueet l´information sur le contexte politique du discours. La lexicométrie permetà l´enseignant de renforcer son degré d´analyse et d´identifier les relationsentre les unités lexicales. Du point de vue didactique, les élèves apprennentà repérer par eux-mêmes les propositions remarquables du discours et àconstruire un argumentaire à l´aide du modèle travaillé. Les jeux de rôle surle discours politique (part d´imitation, part d´improvisation) permettent infine d´approfondir l´exercice et de mettre les élèves en situation.

Abstract [en]

The political speech is an adequate pedagogical material for the class ofFrench as a foreign language as pupils can work on the level of language as well as on thepolitical and social context of the speech. The presidential allocutions are appropriateexamples to the learning of French because of their generality and non-polemicalaspects. This article aims at showing how a speech analysis relative to the pupils´ levelsis able to balance the learning of language with the information on the political contextof the speech. The lexicometry makes the teacher reinforce the analysis of the speechand identify the relations between lexical units. From a didactic point of view, pupilsare able to locate the striking sentences of the speech and build up an argumentation.The role-playing activities on the political speech (imitation and spontaneous creation)are crucial to make pupils feel and act in concrete situations.
