Abstract [en]

This thesis contains a case study on how a Swedish accounting firm, which is a part of a global network, has developed a local CSR strategy based on a global CSR strategy. The differences between the CSR strategies, the extent to which the firms’ CSR strategies and work are connected to the concept of shared value and what kind of issues the firm encountered and resolved in the process of creating the local strategy are investigated. Information was gathered through meetings and an interview and later compared to literature about strategic CSR. The results show that the global strategy has been transferred and acted as a foundation to the local strategy. However, some local adjustments have been made. Some connections between the CSR work and strategies and the concept of shared value were found and seem to be developing. Strategic problems were further both encountered and resolved while creating the local strategy.
