Patients with long-term cognitive impairments following COVID-19 face significant challenges in their rehabilitation, which involves essential therapeutic procedures, administrative tasks, diagnostic tests, and self-assessments. "Digiphysical" methods, combining digital and physical healthcare interventions, offer promising solutions to enhance these rehabilitation processes. In this paper, we present a newly developed digital rehabilitation prototype based on the digiphysical approach. The prototype is designed to integrate digital and physical interventions, streamline clinical and administrative tasks, support the entire rehabilitation process, and facilitate self-directed rehabilitation. It addresses the rehabilitation needs from both the patients' and the rehabilitation personnel's perspectives. In this paper, we present the results of an initial evaluation of the prototype conducted with key rehabilitation professionals.

Health- and social care are complex domains, requiring the collaboration of several professions and several care provider organizations within and between the domains. In this paper, we describe the collaboration between care providers in the Stockholm County and the municipality of Stockholm, highlighting how the information is exchanged, which IT system that supports the exchange, and legal prerequisites for the collaboration. We identify several problems in current practices, including the lack of system integration, and the underutilization of existing digital solutions. We also suggest several solutions aimed at improving the technical infrastructure for digital collaboration. These include the integration of IT systems, simplification of access to essential information, and the adoption of modern APIs to facilitate better communication among healthcare providers. We also present legal issues for the collaboration and how they can be addressed.

Informationssamhället ger upphov till många nya rättsliga överväganden och det behövs ett juridiskt förhållningssätt till digitaliseringen av samhället. I boken ges ett rättsinformatiskt perspektiv på mötet mellan ny teknik och juridik. Ett centralt tema i hela boken är automatisering av rättsliga förfaranden och den centrala roll som algoritmer spelar. 

Efter många år av anpassning av allmänna regler om till exempel upphovsrätt och dataskydd till informationssamhället ser vi nu en tsunami av helt ny EU-lagstiftning. En mängd förordningar och direktiv syftar till att direkt reglera digitala företeelser såsom artificiell intelligens (AI), datahantering, grindvakter på den digitala marknaden och cybersäkerhet. 

I denna femte upplaga har viktiga uppdateringar gjorts för att beskriva dessa nya regler. 

Rättsfallssamlingen i rättsinformatik är framtagen för att användas inom ramen för kurser vid Stockholms universitet. Materialet kan säkert också vara användbart i andra sammanhang där det finns ett behov av att få en samlad överblick över central praxis som berör användningen av informations- och kommunikationsteknik. Innehållet är aktuellt per den 1 juli 2024. Rättsfallssamlingen i rättsinformatik kompletteras av en författningssamling inom samma ämnesområde.

A central issue in the establishment of legal automation in public administration concerns the transformation of legal information into digital environments. In this context, regulation of automated decision-making (ADM), machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) give rise to several key questions. Legal implications of algorithms of different kinds call for special attention. One distinction to be made has to do with general algorithms on the one hand and (case) specific ones on the other. Often, but not always, transformation of open texture in law (primarily vague and ambiguous concepts) results in legal steering mechanisms resembling what may be referred to as code in a normative way. Furthermore, the rule of law requires awareness of the kind of consequences that come with so-called dynamic (changeable) algorithms, as opposed to the static ones. To a considerable extent, societal development boils down to a quest for proactive law as a supplement to traditional preventive law. Legal infrastructures need to be considered at early stages of system design, development, implementation, and management.
