Abstract [en]

Based on archival information three coins in a hoard found in 1745 at Tibble north of Enköping has been identified in the collection of the Royal Coin Cabinet. One of the two German coins is unique and struck in the 1080-1090s at an unknown mint in the Rhine area. The hoard is probably the youngest known Viking-Age hoard from the Mälar valley.
