This article describes fostering the ability to move withincultural and natural geographies from the perspective of aestheticlearning approaches. Land art allows for the comprehensive exploration of the seemingly self-evidentfact that all acquisition of knowledgerequires an arena, that is, an inspiring environment and space tha tprovide opportunities for learning. We detail this in terms of “humanmobility” and see that human mobility embraces a broad variety of site- and body-related aesthetic learning approaches such as displacement, variation, transformation, and multimodality. A person’s mobilitydetermines their learning ability. These contexts will be unfolded inrelation to the learning opportunities afforded by a land art sculpture.
