Triggered by the war in Ukraine, Finland and Sweden applied for NATO membership and Finland has already joined. Neither country has changed their legislation on defence and security procurement due to the invasion. Sweden significantly increased the threshold for cases when art.346(1)(b) TFEU can be used by the procurement authority FMV or the armed forces themselves.
