Abstract [en]

This article discusses the relevance of short novels in the context of the Spanish postwar as a way to raise awareness among the female population about the consequences of the violence of patriarchy (reflected in the civil war and the subsequent postwar period commanded by military and exclusionary principles) for the civilian population and specifically for women. For this purpose, a narratological and ideological analysis of one of the seven short novels written by Carmen Laforet is carried out.
